  • Malae sind Kreaturen aus dem Void, Korruption manifestiert. Sie passen sich jeden Moment mehr an ihren Gegner an. Wenn sie etwas lebendiges oder etwas mit Bewusstsein erfolgreich in ihren größten Albtraum versetzen und während dessen berühren, wird dieses etwas zum Wirt und der Mala zum Parasit.
  • Infizierte Kreaturen greifen unnachgiebig alles an was sie wahrnehmen und haben alle natürlichen Fähigkeiten des originalen Wirtes und je nach Ursprung auch die übernatürlichen Fähigkeiten. Wenn ein infizierter Wirt erfolgreich eine andere Kreatur infiziert, wird diese auch Wirt eines Malae und es bleiben beide infiziert. So funktioniert die Fortpflanzung der Mala auf der Materiellen Dimension.
  • Mala können nicht durch normalen Schaden sterben, sondern nur durch folgende Mittel:
    • schneller Wechsel ihres Aggregatzustandes (verbrennen, einfrieren, etc…)
    • Verbannung (Zauber)
    • Tod ihres Wirtes
